The BC3150, labeled as the "Compact" Bus Terminal Controller, is a Bus Coupler housed in a compact form. It combines Bus Coupler functionality with integrated PLC capabilities and features a PROFIBUS fieldbus interface. Operating as an intelligent slave, it serves as a valuable component for distributed intelligence within the PROFIBUS system.

Each BC3150 unit comprises the controller, a range of 1 to 64 terminals, and a bus end terminal. Furthermore, the BC3150 has the capacity to support up to 255 additional Bus Terminals via the K-bus extension, enhancing its flexibility and adaptability within the system.
